Farmer’s Market Florals | I Love Lilacs!
Published May 22, 2009 Flowers , Inspiration Leave a CommentI grew up in the Midwest and lilacs and peonies grew abundant all over, everywhere. Just like rhubarb grows wild in a forgotten corner of a yard, lilacs grow wild and bushy along unsightly chain-link fences. I love their fragrant, numerous mini blossoms and vivid colors of purple, rich pink and crisp white. I cherish the memory of my mother cutting fresh lilacs and placing them in the antique white ceramic vase she used especially for her lilacs. When I briefly lived in Livingston, Montana a couple years back, I was delighted when early summer brought a plethora of lilac bushes to life all over downtown…
I saw this blog entry on 100 Layer Cake today and I feel in love with the lilac floral designs. I think this natural, farmer’s market look is perfect for any Jackson Hole wedding… So lovely, so charming…

More info here! Enjoy this one…
I just saw these mason jar bouquets on The Bride’s Café. They’re bursting with a mix of sweet peas, tulips, helleborus, fritilaria, fern culs and hyacinths. Janie is an amazing florist and I really do love her ideas. The mason jars are perfect and fit well into any Jackson Hole wedding event design.

The colors, the varieties—flowers bring so much life and elegance to any wedding event. Below are some of my favorite wedding flowers from 2008.

“Lily and Co. was created to offer shoppers a fresh and unique place to shop for flowers and gifts in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
We are aware that flowers communicate emotions and say everything from “i love you,” to “i’m sorry,” to “thank you.” We’ve thrown rice at weddings, visited friends in the hospital, and picked family up from the airport. We are familiar with the powerful language of flowers.
Lily and Co. attracts shoppers with style. Charming gals stock up on vintage inspired kitchen and home accessories. New parents search for the latest essentials for babies along with “cant live without it” clothing and accessories. Clever dinner-party guests assemble creative gifts to present to their hostesses. Romantic boyfriends are occasionally known to wander in looking for the perfect I-was-just-thinking-about-you-gift, although most of them come in knowing they can find the perfect I’m-sorry-please-don’t-hate-me-gift.
